Blog Grammar
There seem to be some people out there that think they are a little more internet savvy than they actually are. They try to use the shortened versions of words because they're lazy or to give the appearance of cool or whatever. To those people, here's a little lesson on hiding your true idiocy. Pic=1 picture. Pix=2 or more pictures. If you have one picture labeled pix, your computer has encountered an id10t error. To correct this, you should go out and buy yourself a brain.
Word of the day: idiocy - 'i-dE-&-sE (n) plural -cies
1 usually offensive : extreme mental retardation
2 : something notably stupid or foolish

My Favorite Game on the Internet
I love eBay. It's by far my favorite game on the internet. It's always so fun to win, even if what I'm bidding on is total crap, and believe me I have bought quite a bit of crap. I've been playing most of the day today. I used to impulse bid on a lot of stuff, but I've gotten better at putting it in my watch items. That way I don't actually spend money, but if I really want it, I can go back to it.
Today I bought some soap making stuff. If you've never made soap, you should try it. It's one of my less expensive, and most relaxing hobbies. You can get a 2lb. bag of soap cubes at Hobby Lobby for $5.99-$6.49 depending on the kind, and molds that make 4-6 bars per tray in the $2.47 range. It's so easy to do too. You just melt the cubes in the microwave, add some fragrance & some color, and pour it into the mold. 45 min-1 hr later, you have soap. The clean up is really easy too since it's soap. If it hardens on anything you don't want it to, you just have to run water on it & it goes away.
Anyway, back to what I bought on eBay. I got a 1 lb brick of soap for $2.75, which ended up costing me $7.05 with shipping, go figure. I also got 2 soap molds; one is peace signs and smiley faces and the other is dragonflies and ladybugs. They were a little more expensive than the ones at Hobby Lobby, but I was at Hobby Lobby today and they didn't have them. I did get a mold at Hobby Lobby that has shoes and purses.
I can't wait to get home tonight. I'm so going to make soap after I cut Mom's hair, unless I can get out of cutting Mom's hair; then I'll just make soap.
Movie recommendation of the day: Dick starring Kirsten Dunst & that girl that played Jen on Dawson's Creek. It's a hilarious satire on the whole Watergate scandal.

I borrowed this from somebody, but I can't remember who.
Go to Google Image Search. Type in the following, and post your favourite pictures the search engine finds:

The name of the town you live in now
Your name
Your grandmother's name
Your favourite food
Your favourite drink
Your favourite song
Your favourite smell
Here are mine:
Town where I grew up
Town I live in now
My name
My grandmother's name
My favourite food
My favourite drink
My favourite song
My favourite smell
You do it too!!

I went shopping!
I got this top and a bra to go with it. I really like the bra. It came with 2 sets of detachable straps: those clear plastic kind and straps that match the rest of the bra; or you can go without straps. The clear plastic straps are cool, but they stick to your skin and can be a little uncomforable.
I also got a new pair of sandals from payless and some shortpants from The Avenue. God, I love shopping. It all comes together really well and makes a cute new outfit. A couple of weeks ago, I went shopping and bought this skirt. I'm thinking the new top will look cute with the skirt, but I'm not sure. Let me know what you think.

Jackson jury enters 2nd week of deliberations...
...and I'm bored with it. I don't care if they find him guilty or not, I'm just ready for a verdict so that it's over with. It seems like this has been going on forever. It was a little interesting the first few days of the trial, then the day Michael's bail was almost revoked and he showed up in his pajamas. Waiting for Michael, now that was quality television. I'm sick of listening to Nancy Grace's opinion, which is completely irrelevant in my opinion. I'm ready to get back to real news on my news channels.

Non-smokers can be so annoying!
There's a message board that I post at regularly. There's a new kid over there that's like 20 years old spewing his ignorance about how smokers should smoke at home or quit. He said, and I quote, "It's not that hard." Anyone who has never been addicted to cigarettes has no clue as to how hard it is to quit smoking. It's bad. I've tried. The last time I tried, I decided that I would rather smoke than be a bitch to everyone around me. I didn't like the way being a bitch made me feel way worse than I didn't like the way smoking made me feel.

A fun little list game
I got this from The Daily Bitch:
The basic rules are that you list 10 things you've never done but with a twist. Here it is: You post the list of the person who tagged you and then write your own below it. Only change items that you HAVE done and leave the ones that you have NEVER done. Get it?? Then pass it on...
aka_monty's List:
1. Jumped from a perfectly good plane that's still flying
2. Jumped from a perfectly good bridge with an oversized rubber band around my ankles
3. Been on safari
4. Intentionally hit someone with my car
5. Chewed tobacco
6. Been an OPRAH fan
7. Won the lottery *sigh* (wish I could've changed this one)
8. Driven a race car
9. Flown in a hot air balloon
10. Run for public office.
MY LIST:
1. Jumped from a perfectly good plane that's still flying
2. Jumped from a perfectly good bridge with an oversized rubber band around my ankles
3. Been on safari
4. Intentionally hit someone with my car
5. Chewed tobacco
6. Had sex in a public place
7. Won the lottery *sigh* (wish I could've changed this one)
8. Driven a race car
9. Flown in a hot air balloon
10. Run for public office.
I only got to change one thing. :( Man, I'm boring.
I do request that if you decide to play along, please leave me a comment telling me so that I may come admire your list.

Time Magazine's All-Time 100 Best Films List
Time Magazine came out with this list. Here's my take on it:
- It's a long list.
- I've only seen 10 of the films on the list.
- I'm going to rank the ones I've seen.

- Finding Nemo
- A Streetcar Named Desire
- Taxi Driver

- King Kong (only made the list because I know I've seen it, even if I can't remember it)
- They grouped trilogies together as one instead of counting each installment of the trilogy as a separate film.
- I'm going to make up my own list.
- The 10 from their list that I've seen aren't all going to make my list.
